How to reach us
The NIT Meghalaya is located in Sohra (Cherrapunjee), Meghalaya. The nearest major city is Shillong, accessible by road from the nearest airport or railway station. From Shillong, participants may take a taxi or local transport to Sohra, the scenic journey through the hills provides a memorable start to the conference.
To reach Sohra by Air, one has to take a flight to Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Guwahati, Assam. From there, one can reach Sohra in five hours by hiring Taxi or a shared Taxi. With limited flights and taxi service Shillong Airport is 80 km from Sohra.
The nearest railway station is at Guwahati. From the railway station, one can travel by hiring a taxi or shared taxi to Sohra. It takes about five hours to reach Sohra.
